The 50-mile Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail - an "Epic Ride" - link

To the East is the Petit Jean - Arkansas's first and flagship state park, with windswept views, enchanting woodlands laced with streams and wildflowers, and a spectacular waterfall... in Morrilton, AK (map)

Arkansas State fishing licenses are required for persons over the age of 16 and can be purchased from a local outfitter. Ask them for a current fishing booklet which lists size and limits.

Back to the East, Batesville is the second oldest town in Arkansas and home to Lyon's College, a top rated liberal arts college.
