My Birthday followup

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me an email, IM, called me, and sent a card [extra thanks to those who sent money *wink*]. I was so busy being lazy for the birthday weekend, i didn't get most of the emails until during the week and i still havn't checked my voicemail (i'm horrible, i know. I'll be buying a replacement cellphone soon - i hope. perhaps with birthday money.)

My Work

It's been a busy week. a project that has taken most of my time for the past few months is going live Saturday, Jan 22nd. My fingers are crossed for a fairly smooth rollout and hopefully i can calm down a bit. I've spent so much time at work, i have been neglecting my new wiki as well as normal communication. blah on 60 hour weeks!

Ginni Came to the C.BUS

Ginni came and visited us in columbus for a couple of days (wednesday & thursday). It was awesome. We spent much money at the north market and ate great pizza at hound dog's pizza and went for some cold park visits. We played a few games and watched a few movies. We tried to play pool, poorly. nova decided mornings in the guest bed with Ginni was a good idea. Her visit was totally great. (come back soon)

Marea's CD Release party & Bento Go-Go's

Marea (DJ Foursqare) and DJ flew into Columbus and played a set, and flew back to KY. they are the hardest working people in show-business (and DJ's not even in showbiz). They cant help being awesome - they would be awesome, asleep... but that doesn't stop them from working to keep things rocking.

Also, Bento Go-Go's is a really cool little space. It's 2 level and we only had people on the top floor, but it was totally relaxed, open, and condusive to a mid-sized crowd hanging out, dancing, talking, etc. I really liked it as a venue. It really seemed like a bunch of friends got together a nice space to hang out publicly. I hope to go back there some time soon (though it's so cold right now - it would take motivation).

molly & randy's daughter

they should be home now, with their daughter : Genevieve Elizabeth Hukle. She's (as of the 22nd @ 4am) 5 days old, which makes her roughly 0.052624820812485122488% as old as I am.... or exactly 26 years younger, depending on how you like to count.
