Thanks to Anita doing research (and generally being excited in all things baby’ish) we have a more solid conviction to cloth diapers.

And in case you haven’t heard or picked up on it… we have pretty much decided on the name “Penelope” after finding out that it was going to be a girl at yesterday’s ultrasound.
Yay!
After almost a year of using mostly cloth diapers, we are terribly glad we did so. We found out that each baby is different, so what fit Poppy’s chubby legs didn’t work well on her friend Henson’s skinny legs, and vice versa. The pocket diapers are great for night-time (with two inserts) and the covers for pre-folds are a requirement… the snap-ez are good, but we never use them anymore.
One important thing is to be easy going. We do switch to disposable when we drop her off with the grandparents and sometimes when we go out or traveling… flexibility is great, better than being up tight.
